Photography
Given his interest in phenomenology all Del’s photographs whilst now digital are non-digitally enhanced - he considers it important that the photograph is not a constructed image (via photoshop et al) but that people can enjoy being reminded of what can be seen.
Del has worked as a photographer in several countries and has a BA in photography and an MA in Documentary Photography and Photojournalism. He was the Principal Investigator in the UK for the European Union Leonardo funded Lifelong learning project PHOTOTHERAPYEUROPE and is the Principal Investigator for the Grundtvig EU multilateral project PHOTOTHERAPYEUROPE in Prisons (PIP). He has also recently researched the use of photographs in management development with an international organisation and in 2019, was presented with the Diamond Phototherapy Award at the Royal Photographic Society.
See here for endorsements of his Handbook of Phototherapy and Therapeutic Photography.
