Academic and Keynote Speaker
Del is an Emeritus Professor of Counselling and Psychotherapy in the Department of Psychology at the University of Roehampton, Visiting Professor in the Department of Philosophy, Pedagogy and Psychology at the University of Athens, Greece and Adjunct Professor in the Faculty of Health Environmental Sciences at Auckland University of Technology. He has held academic positions in Departments of Psychology, Education and Management and currently works throughout the UK and internationally.
Psychotherapy/Counselling/Counselling Psychology/Supervision
Del is registered with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC) as a Chartered Counselling Psychologist (British Psychological Society). He trained at the Philadelphia Association (London) and is on the United Kingdom Council for Psychotherapy (UKCP) registers as an Analytic Psychotherapist and Existential-Analytic Psychotherapist. Del is on the BPS Register of Applied Psychology Practice Supervisors and the UKCP Directory of Supervisors. He has been involved in providing counselling, psychotherapy and supervision to individuals and groups for over thirty years. Del has a private practice in Wimbledon and Brighton in the UK.
Coaching and Consultancy
Del has worked as a consultant and coach in management and organisation development for some of the world's leading companies, and to therapeutic training programmes, as well as in the National Health Service and organisations whose social objectives are greater or equal to their economic objectives.
Phototherapy and Therapeutic Photography
Del is a Fellow of the Royal Photographic Society (RPS) and a photographer (with a BA in photography and an MA in Documentary Photography and Photojournalism) and is also involved in researching the therapeutic use of photographs in organisations, prisons and individual and group therapy.

Training
Besides having being involved with initiating Doctoral, Masters and Undergraduate programmes at the University of Surrey, University of Roehampton, and internationally, Del is currently involved with leading the development of the Southern Association of Psychotherapy and Counselling's (SAFPAC) UKCP critical existential-analytic psychotherapy training and is on the faculty of the Philadelphia Association. Del has advised several universities in the implementation and development of programmes in, and Centres of, psychotherapy and counselling.
